A Luxury Shortlet Brand in Need of a website that makes booking easy with a feel of luxury.
Recks Luxury Homes is a premier provider of luxury shortlet apartments, exquisitely curated spaces designed to offer discerning guests unmatched comfort, elegance, and bespoke experiences. Operating since 2020 and expanding across multiple countries, their portfolio spans Abuja, Lagos, South Africa, Dubai, London, Rwanda, Kenya, Tanzania, and Egypt. They do not just rent apartments. They create experiences. What they needed was a website that communicated that standard before a guest ever made a booking.
"What made this project commercially distinctive were two features that set Recks apart from every other shortlet booking site in Nigeria: a cryptocurrency payment option and a membership system. The crypto payment feature opened the platform to international guests and tech-forward clients who prefer digital assets, a significant differentiator in a market where most shortlet sites only accept bank transfer or card. The membership system offered guests a 30% discount on all bookings in exchange for joining the VIP programme, a retention and loyalty mechanism that turned one-time bookers into repeat clients."

Before any design began, we mapped the full picture of the Recks Luxury Homes brand, the properties, the target guest profile, the booking journey, the payment methods they wanted to offer, the membership model, and the luxury standard the visual identity needed to communicate. A luxury apartment brand has specific expectations for how it should look and feel online. Understanding those expectations precisely was the first step.

Content & Layout Strategy
Every section of the site was mapped around the guest's decision journey. What does a first-time visitor need to see to feel confident booking a luxury apartment at this price point? How should the homepage booking widget be positioned? How should the apartment catalogue communicate the value of each property? Each page was planned to move the visitor from discovery to decision without friction.

The complete platform was built: a rich, luxury-aesthetic website with a captivating homepage hero; a full online booking system with check-in/check-out date picker and guest selector; a multi-country apartment catalogue with individual property pages; a cryptocurrency payment gateway alongside standard payment options; a VIP membership system with 30% member discount.

Testing & Launch
Before going live, every system was tested end-to-end, the booking flow from date selection through to payment confirmation, the cryptocurrency payment gateway, the membership registration and discount application, the guest login and account access, all apartment listings, and the full mobile experience. The site launched as a complete, fully functioning luxury booking platform.
